Hi! I'm Gerald!
I'm a hobbyist photographer from the sunny island of Singapore! Photography has been a very large part of my life, having picked up a camera almost two decades ago. While having covered various types of shoots ranging from events to products, I've found a love of capturing both street and environmental photos. With my experience in this medium, I want to share with you tales of the mundane, made larger than life. Lucid dreams, digitized and made real. I want to capture all the beautiful little details this world has to offer. Come on this journey with me, and see the world in a different light!
An avid learner, I'm always looking to improve my work! When I first picked up a Canon 600D in 2006, I started out first with videography before moving into the photography space back in 2015 as I moved towards completing my studies in Australia. I've captured over 30 student-run events during this three year period, ranging from orientation camps, sporting events to student conferences. Since then, I've also gone to cover professionally-run conferences for the scientific community while doing further studies, primarily working with the polymer research community down under!
Right now, I'm currently looking to expand my work by moving (back) into videos, animations and 3D modelling. Although those aren't quite there yet, look forward to seeing these soon!
